Description
Writing Prompts: February Writing Prompts for Class Share Time build essential Common Core writing and speaking skills from the beginning of the year all the way to the last day of school.
These February “Sharing Pages” give students a unique opportunity to share their writing in front of the class. Each writing prompt focuses upon the sweet month of February. From Groundhog Day to sending valentines, being President and owning a pet, your class will love sharing their writing with their peers through this motivating class writing program!
Use these pages in small groups, as independent centers work, or as a homework assignment. After the page is complete, students share their work in front of the class while practicing beginning public speaking skills.
Here’s a free class poster set to help your own class sharing page program…PUBLIC SPEAKING CLASS POSTERS
Included are colorful “Sharing Book” covers for binding together to create class books that your students will love reading all school year long! Create and collect these for your classroom library throughout the year, then raffle them off at the end of the school year for a class keepsake! Or, simply use the covers to create a bulletin board to display your students writing, then send them home.
