Spelling Dictionary: This interactive spelling dictionary with both print and go and editable (add your own words on the A to Z pages) formats provides students with a year long resource book and interactive activities to go along with it. Spelling is a skill that develops with time, teaching, and practice. We work hard all school year to build solid spelling foundations in our little learners. To do this, we provide them with engaging tools that assist and challenge them to be responsible for their own learning.

“My Writing Words Interactive Spelling Dictionary for Primary Writers” empowers our students to take a dive into their dictionary and look up the words they need! If they find the word, we ask them to highlight it so it’s easier to find the next time. If they don’t find it, we add it for them one time to model proper spelling or we tell them how to spell it (one time only!) as they add it to their own dictionary. Once a word is in their book, they “own it” and are responsible for looking it up whenever they need help spelling it. We hope this booklet will help you motivate your class to demonstrate their stellar spelling skills too!

This booklet includes print and go and editable A to Z pages options. Each option includes 3 cover options, A-Z plus categorized spelling pages. In addition, we’ve created 9 interactive activities to accompany their spelling dictionaries and several motivational charts for keeping them on track. They are designed to “hide” the learning. In other words, kids should have fun working through the spelling challenges.
